Adult Worship Services
Worship is the basic connection we make to God. We hear about His deep love for us, and respond, celebrating both in private moments throughout the day, and in scheduled public events together with others. We sing praises and lift prayer to God, remember His sacrifice, give back to Him, read His Word, learn more about Him, commit ourselves to His leadership.

In private worship, we conduct our service spontaneously, as it pleases us, celebrating with whatever music we choose. In public worship, we follow a pre-planned course.

Because not everyone enjoys the same style of music, Christ’s Church offers two worship services on Sunday morning. The message is the same at each service, but the style of the service and the music for each varies. We offer a classic or more traditional worship service at our first worship hour, and a contemporary worship service at the second worship hour:

Sample classic service

8:30 a.m.
Classic
This service includes more “classic elements”
such as hymns, choruses, and special music.

Sample modern service

11 a.m.
Modern
This service incorporates contemporary praise music led by a praise band. (Middle and high school teens
generally participate in this service.)
In addition to Sunday services, periodically throughout the year, we host special evening services such as Good Friday and Christmas Eve services, and a Harvest Celebration. These generally take place at 6:30 p.m.
