Family Support
Center Overview
It’s
not all about winning the ball games.
Good sportsmanship, team-building, and respect are practiced; aggressive
behavior is not tolerated.
Devotions are held at half-time or at the end of a game.
The Family
Support Center is a place where kids, families, and adults can participate
in “satellite” activities of the church, form relationships,
and hear a little more about Christ in a safe, healthy environment.
Family
Support Center programming includes activities for all levels of fitness
and interest. Center director Don Schaffer coordinates on- and offsite
programming for recreation, fellowship, and fitness, including (but not
limited to):
Basketball
and volley ball
Golf and bowling outings
Summer sports
Walking routes mapped through the building
Fitness center individual fitness plans
Church picnics
Concerts
Carnivals
Elementary open gym
Summer sports camps |
